Hello, my name is Jill. I am so grateful you are here.
I believe in the goodness within all things, in integrity, and in living life with a spirit of adventure. What began as a simple passion has grown into crafting hand-poured candles inspired by the natural beauty of the North. Each candle is made with care, created with cruelty-free ingredients, and poured on the shores of Lake Washington in Southern Minnesota—bringing comfort, memories, and joy into everyday life.
My deep love for nature and animals gives me the motivation to make things better for all. As we grow, we hope to build our business in a way that allows us to support and uplift those who need kindness the most.
Our Purpose:
At Northern Wicks and Woods, our candles are inspired by the North—its seasons, landscapes, and the memories they hold. Each one is hand-crafted with 100% natural soy wax and clean cotton wicks, using only cruelty-free ingredients.
Every candle is designed to take you on a journey to the North, letting you experience the crisp air, quiet forests, and timeless traditions that feel like home. With each burn, we strive to bring the scent and warmth of northern traditions into your space, filling it with nature, comfort, and nostalgia.
