Meet the Candle Maker, Jill

My name is Jill and I am grateful you are here.

Northern Wicks and Woods began in 2023, pouring one candle at a time in my kitchen on the shores of Lake Washington in Minnesota. What started as a simple passion slowly grew into something much more meaningful. Inspired by the stillness of northern mornings, golden prairie sunsets, and the deep woods that shape our landscape, each candle became a reflection of the North I cherish.

I believe in the goodness within all things, in living with integrity, and in embracing life with a spirit of adventure. My deep love for nature and animals inspires me to create with purpose. As we grow, I hope to build this business in a way that not only honors the beauty around us, but also supports and uplifts those who need kindness most.
